Correct, that is the Ham car park in one of my photos.
Here is a map (courtesy maps.bing.co.uk); from the A307 Petersham Road turn down Sandy Lane at the mini roundabout, at the end of Sandy Lane turn right on to Ham Street, keep going all the way to the end until you get to the car park. Easiest thing is to follow the brown "National Trust - Ham House" signs but don't turn in to their car park, carry straight on to the end of the road.
Don't worry about the flood warning signs in the car park, it should be low tide when we are there (famous last words!).

Quote :
We will need a wheelbarrow or sturdy carp trolley (or two) (my wheelbarrow has rusted to bits, where's the best place to get a cheapie replacement?)
Have bought myself a new one for now, got one with a galvanized body and proper tyre on plastic wheel from B&Q (my last one was a black-painted Wickes one, the body had started to rust through and the steel wheel had rusted so much it fell apart when I put air in it). Will be bringing it along on Sunday.

I hope this snow melts and it warms up a bit or we're going to have a very short litter-picking session. If not should still be clear ground under the trees and concentrate on Thames Mariners area.

Forecast says it should be up from -8 today to a balmy 0 deg.C by tomorrow morning, so anyone barmy enough to join me, wrap up warm with extra socks and see you Ham car park 9am.
