Despite the date being in the thread title I was convinced it was next weekend. I'm currently fishing Wraysbury 1 with the Stoney & Friends group. Nothing to report so far.

Apart from one Dace caught by myself, (8oz) and a lovely 2.12 brownie caught by John Lesurf, the river was awful, sunny conditions all week while your working, as soon as you go fishing, its all change, excuses, but true.
I dont know if anyone was fishing at Teddington lock today, but did they open all the gates or something because for the last hour the river became unfishable, i,ve never seen it flow that fast, even in flood.
Still apart from the crap fishing, great to be out again, nice to meet you Oli, cant wait for the pictures and thanks for the lift John.
Roll on the next session
cheers

Made it along for a couple hours with, got a bit excited for a moment when a carrier bag snagged my hook and bent the rod round, but otherwise it was biteless :-( Think Matthew enjoyed larking about in the mud though!

10 hardy souls ventured out into the mist, fishing was poor but it was good to get out of the smoke,
Out of the smoke and into the mist.
